About the Recipe
This dish was a favorite in our house and became quite a hit for my daughter-in-law.

Ingredients
1 medium white onion
1 lb ground beef
1 small cabbage, chopped
2 white potatoes, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
2 ears of corn kernals
1 tbsp ginger, crushed
1 tbsp garlic, crushed
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp curry powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
1 shake black pepper
2 chicken bullion cubes
Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet, combine beef and onion. Cook on medium heat until brown, then drain grease. Add cabbage, potatoes, corn, spices, and half cup of water. Reduce heat to medium low and cover pot.
Step 2
Cook until potatoes are soft (30-40 minutes) and add water every so often to keep food moist. Serve hot over rice.
