About the Recipe
This dessert tastes delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
Pineapple rings (5-6)
1 2/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter. Add brown sugar to butter and spread in a round pan. Arrange pineapple rings on top and add walnuts in and around the pineapple rings.
Step 2
TIn a bowl, mix flour, salt, milk, vanilla extract, 2/3 cup softened butter, sugar, and eggs. Pour batter over the pineapple.
Step 3
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. When toothpick comes out clean and cake is still hot, flip the pineapple cake upside down onto a plate. Serve warm or at room temperature.
