About the Recipe
This is a great dessert for birthdays and other celebrations.

Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup coconut
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
Preparation
Step 1
Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix into egg mixture. Add in apples and raisins.
Step 2
Spoon into 9" x 13" greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes. While still hot, use fork to poke holes onto top of cake.
Step 3
For frosting, combine brown sugar, milk, and butter. Boil in pan for 3 minutes. Pour over cake while still hot. Sprinkle with nuts and coconut.
