Ingredients

  • 1 cup regular flour

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1/3 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp oil

Preparation

Step 1


Mix all ingredients with water. Let sit for one hour before making 10-15 balls of dough. Then roll the dough into little circles about 5 inches in diameter.



Step 2


Heat oil in pan on medium heat. When the oil is ready, place one piece of dough into the pan. After a couple of minutes, flip it over and gently press down to make sure that the entire surface is cooking. Parts of the dough will form bubbles during this time.



Step 3


When cooked, remove puri from the hot oil and drain excess oil along the side of the pan. Repeat until all dough is cooked. Serve immediately.
